External PhD student, based at the Machine Learning Lab at the University of Freiburg and the ELLIS Institute Tübingen, co-supervised by André and Prof. Frank Hutter.

His research focuses on the automated optimization of agentic systems — including prompt optimization (e.g. Promptolution, a modular framework for prompt engineering) and multi-agent system design (e.g. CANTANTE, which optimizes agentic systems through contrastive credit attribution).
